Board & Train in Broomfield, Colorado

Real-world training in my home, intentionally limited to just three dogs at a time

Your dog lives alongside me and my family while we build clearer communication, obedience, structure, reliability, and the skills needed for everyday life.

This is not a traditional kennel-style Board & Train.

Your dog stays in my home and becomes part of my daily routine throughout the program. Training happens throughout the day and extends beyond formal sessions into walks, thresholds, meals, downtime, public outings, household routines, and the everyday situations your dog will encounter after going home.

Because I intentionally limit Board & Train to just three dogs at a time, I’m able to give each dog the individual attention, structure, and repetition they need while still exposing them to real life.

Training may include:

  • Heel and purposeful leash walking

  • Sit, Down, Stay, Place, Recall, and Kennel

  • Impulse control and household boundaries

  • ·Threshold manners and calm behavior in the home

  • Reliable communication around distractions

  • Public and real-world training

  • ·Off-leash reliability when appropriate

  • Behavioral concerns based on the individual dog

  • Controlled social exposure when appropriate and safe

Throughout the program, your dog receives structured training, rest, enrichment, exercise, and real-world exposure appropriate for their individual needs.

The goal is not simply to have your dog respond well for me. The goal is to build a dog who understands the expectations, then teach you how to communicate and maintain those expectations when your dog returns home.

BOARD & TRAIN PROGRAMS

3 Week Board & Train

$4,000

Our most comprehensive standard Board & Train program for dogs who need stronger obedience, better manners, clearer structure, and more reliable behavior in everyday life.

Your dog stays in my home for three weeks and trains as part of my daily routine. We work in the house, neighborhood, public spaces, stores, parks, trails, and other real-world environments so the training is built to hold up outside of a controlled setting.

Training May Include

• Sit, Down, Stay, Place, Heel, Recall, and Kennel

• Loose leash walking and purposeful walking

• Threshold manners and impulse control

• Calm behavior and an appropriate off switch

• Reliable communication around distractions

• Household structure and boundaries

• Public outings and real-world proofing

• E-collar conditioning and off-leash reliability when appropriate

• Individual training priorities based on your dog’s needs

Owner Training Is Part of the Program

The goal is not for your dog to spend three weeks becoming great at listening to me.

Throughout the program, we work together so you understand the communication system, equipment, expectations, and handling skills your dog is learning. Your three private sessions give us time to transfer that training back to you and make sure you know how to maintain it at home.

The finished product is not simply a trained dog. It is a stronger Dog Team.

4+ Week Behavior Modification Board & Train

Starting at $5,000

Designed for dogs whose needs go beyond standard obedience and manners. Behavior Modification programs are built around the individual dog and may require four weeks or longer depending on the severity, history, and complexity of the behaviors being addressed.

Your dog stays in my home and works with me throughout everyday life, allowing us to address behavior in a structured environment while gradually introducing the situations, distractions, and triggers that are relevant to your dog.

Training May Include

• Reactivity toward dogs, people, or environmental triggers

• Aggressive or threatening behavior

• Resource guarding

• Fearful, defensive, or highly avoidant behavior

• Significant impulse-control issues

• Excessive arousal and difficulty settling

• Structured exposure and confidence building

• Clear household boundaries and expectations

• Sit, Down, Stay, Place, Heel, Recall, and Kennel

• Loose-leash walking and purposeful walking

• E-collar conditioning when appropriate

• Muzzle conditioning when appropriate

• Controlled social exposure when appropriate and safe

• Real-world training and proofing based on the individual dog

Behavior Modification is not a one-size-fits-all program. Training plans, timelines, and expectations are built around the dog in front of me.

Owner Involvement Matters

Behavior modification does not end when your dog comes home.

Throughout the program, I work with you so you understand your dog’s communication, triggers, equipment, boundaries, and training system. Your private sessions are designed to help transfer the work back to you and give you the skills needed to continue managing and improving your dog’s behavior at home.

The goal is not to create a dog who only responds to me. It is to build a safer, clearer, and more reliable Dog Team between you and your dog.

Some behavioral cases may also require veterinary evaluation or collaboration with a veterinarian or veterinary behaviorist.

4 Week Puppy Board & Train — 3 + 1 Program

$5,000

Designed for puppies who need a strong foundation early in life while still allowing room for continued development as they mature.

The program is split into two phases. Your puppy completes an initial three-week Board & Train focused on foundational obedience, structure, communication, confidence, and everyday manners. Then, after your dog is older and more physically and mentally mature, they return for an additional one-week Board & Train to reinforce that foundation and advance the training.

Training May Include

• Name recognition and engagement

• Sit, Down, Stay, Place, Recall, and Kennel

• Leash pressure conditioning and purposeful walking

• Household structure and boundaries

• Threshold manners and impulse control

• Crate training and settling

• Appropriate handling and grooming tolerance

• Confidence building and environmental exposure

• Calm behavior around everyday distractions

• Public and real-world training appropriate for the puppy’s age

• Introduction to training equipment as appropriate

• Continued obedience and reliability during the return week

Why The Program Is Split

Puppies develop quickly, and the dog you have at four or five months old will not be the same dog you have during adolescence.

The first three weeks give your puppy a clear foundation in communication, structure, obedience, and everyday expectations. The final week is reserved for later, when your dog is older, so we can revisit the training, address changes that appear during adolescence, and continue building reliability as your puppy matures.

The goal is not to rush a young dog through advanced training. It is to build the right foundation early and continue developing that Dog Team as your puppy grows.
